Sort of a hidden gem at Custer State Park. Beautiful setting with a small beach and multiple locations around the lake for a picnic.

This was by far one of our favorite spots in Custer State Park! It is a relatively small lake, but it was extremely clear and beautiful! We did some hiking around the lake and fishing. We caught a few small trout, but we did not...More

Most of the campgrounds in Custer State Park seemed to be oriented mainly for RV's and are too open and unshaded for my taste but the Center Lake campground has lots of tall pines and shade and a pretty little lake. The showers were a...More
