as a view point, and one you can drive all the way to, this is up there (pun intended). At over 6000 feet you are up there with the gods. You can see it all, Crazy horse, Mt Rushmore, and even Badlands.

Took the switchback road up to Mount Coolidge and the lookout tower. Fantastic views. A must do if you are in the park. Just make sure on thunder showers are in the forcast.

Great view of the Black Hills! We really enjoyed the drive up. It is a dirt road but very well maintained. If you see the sign take the drive. You will not regret it.

Make sure you take this drive the views are breathtaking. Your trip to South Dakota has some of the most wonderful places to drive just to see the sights.
