Being the fact that I never have been on the ferry, I got on just to take the ride across and then took the ride right back. It was smooth. The lobby was cleaner than normally. Look like the walls have been repainted.

The ferry costs $2 each way for a 15 minute ride. It is a nice way to see the city and take a few pictures, that's it.

I wanted to go to the battlegrounds. This ferry only passes it. It was enjoyable and a narrated voyage.

It was a nice little ride over to the Algiers Point. Not a lot to do over there for a tourist. A few cute pubs and restaurants with really good food though. We did enjoy walking around and admiring the New Orleans architecture.

By staying at the Canal St Sheridan we could hop on the buses to almost anywhere or walk to Cafe Du Monde for breakfast, the Aquarium, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral and after a BUSY week-end, Monday we boarded the Delta Queen for a ride...More

It's $2 each way ($1 for seniors) to take the ferry to go to the other side (Old Algiers). On the ferry, you can look back to the riverfront and have a very nice view of St. Louis Church, the steamboats and the skyline. Also,...More

This is a short five minute trip across the river with nothing really intersting to see on the other side. Because of the time between trips (about 30 min) seems to be a waste of time.

Good way to get to Algiers for only $2.00. We took the ferry to Algiers for photo op. As we walked through the terminal, we remembered a few scenes from the movie Deja Vu. Nothing really to do in Algiers near the terminal. We did...More

The Hop On Hop Off tour guide told us to take the ferry across to watch the sunset over New Orleans. Timing is everything; but recommended. We were also told it is good to part in Algiers and then tour the city if you are...More

We took the ferry to Algiers thinking there would be a great photo opportunity on the other side of New Orleans...but other than a place to get a drink - nothing there! Very disappointing when you were told this was a must. Invest in places...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

We went to Harrahs for a very short time, its clean and gigantic, tons of slots and tables. Not vegas but close. Worth checking out.
