If you've never seen a play at a community theatre, this would be the best place to start.

We recently saw Its Only a Play for its last performance....hilarious! This is a great little theatre. There's not a bad seat in the house. You can get a drink at the small bar, nice courtyard, clean restrooms. The theatre is right on Jackson Square...More

I've never been to a professional play before, so I lucked out and found this place on Google map. The final show of their centennial season, so I decided to try something new. The interior was very nice, chairs are comfy, they serve drinks before...More

My husband and I saw a matinee performance of Jelly's Last Jam. Amazing performance. Seating is excellent all over the house. Tableau adjoins the theater so very convenient. We will be back.

Very friendly, smallish theater doing mostly repertory pieces with a social justice slant. We saw "Jelly's Last Jam" and enjoyed it very much. If you're going to spend the day in the French Quarter anyway, plan to top it off with a show here.

I've attended this theater many times over the years with great pleasure. I've never had a bad experience here and love pairing a dinner outing with a matinee! This past weekend proved no less than wonderful as before. We watched a great presentation of "Dark...More
