Nice relaxed evening at the bar.

Good cocktails. Cute boy dancers. Was a great way to relax after dinner. Be aware that it is a cash only bar. Better to make change for the strippers. 😊

I was walking before going home looking for a place to eat and everywhere was full because of mardi gras but they had a place at the bar. The food is fresh and the servers very friendly

We decided to stop in for a bite to eat and ordered Alligator and Oysters. The Alligator was absolutely delicious but the portion is small. The Oysters had flavor but very gritty, so I could not enjoy them. However the price was reasonable and the service staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I would recommend this place... More

Head there for the cheap drinks and the good eye candy. Boys on the bar nightly and they do keep you engaged. Amateur night on Friday was good EXCEPT for whoever the DJ / Hosts were for the contest. ( loud and drunk or high- they were more distraction than enhancement. Hung out for an hour and a couple drinks... More

This is a cash only bar - No credit cards. The bar is small and drink prices are cheap.Boys dancing on the bar nightly. Most of the dancers are slim, young twinks but they have a few beefer guys. It used to be a good dive bar with attractive dancers and cheap drinks. Those days are over. Now they have a cover charge and it goes up depending on what time of the day you get there. Prices that used to be happy hour and/or cheap drinks were equal to every other place in town or other city and... More

During the day, it's kind of slow, not much going on, but cheap drinks and usually friendly bartender(s). When it becomes time for the go-go boys to dance nightly, the place packs, and hot mostly twinks strut and dance on the bar for the best scenery in the city. My friend left his wallet (all credit cards, drivers license for... More

I was not impressed with this bar but my friends liked it because of the cheap drinks. We came around happy hour and the outside looked like a place I'd rather stay away from, and the inside was not much better. The place was almost empty, the bartender was really nice, the interior needed a serious update as far as... More

Boys dancing on the bar nightly. Cheap drinks. Very friendly bartenders. Did I mention boys dancing on the bar? Bring some dollars for tips (or break a bill at the bar - dollars are fully recycled!). Women without men are typically refused entrance.

This is one place that I always make sure to visit when I'm in New Orleans. It's a little hole in the wall kind of bar, but it's a good time. Southern Decadence is hands down the best time to visit.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
