I visited the Wax Museum as part of a group outing. There was a guided tour offered so I listened in and the guide did a great job of bringing the displays to life. There is a lot of history in this city that didn't...More

Went here with my wife and two 12 year olds. Our favorite wax museum of the several we've seen. The quality of the displays is astonishingly good--apparently they were made by a craftsman in France. You learn about the history of New Orleans, important parts...More

We had a great time walking through the wax museum. There are lots of historical exhibits to view as well as other paintings, writings and maps on the walls. Each display had a write up next to it explaining the scene. The entrance fee is...More

Boring, lame, just a waste. The wax figures look like middle grade students did them, the plaques are not kept up so some you can't read and the whole thing was not worth it.

The museum has a really bad odor when you enter, but it's not that expensive. The stories w/the was figures is great and covers almost everything I heard on the historic tours. It even has a horror section which was neat.

I can't believe this museum is not advertised more. It ranks right up there with Conferdate, Cabildo, and Presbytere. We only found out about it from the waitstaff at our hotel.

I have a weak spot in my heart for this place. When traveling the country many years ago, I was on a major “Wax Museum” kick, and I made a pledge to myself that if I stopped in a town that had one, I would...More

my fiancé and I spent nearly 2 weeks in NOLA, and walked by this museum countless times, hoping to pop in for a look around. Never once did we actually see the place open. If this place is a high-priority stop for your next trip...More

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
