So many of the New Orleans restaurants and bars are expensive with regard to beverages but the Chart Room is a no frills neighborhood hangout with nicely priced drinks. It's open air doors make it a delightful place to have a beverage and people watch.

This is a gem of a dive bar in the quarter but without FQ prices. A great locals bar but very friendly, great juke box and wonderful ambience. Perhaps it is a bit dark at night. I alway come here when in Nola and during...More

My group went here every night of our stay. $2 dollar drafts, and Old Charter Bourbon! The people are nice and usually local. I hope you can meet Jerry, he's a hoot.

Great place to kick back. Great prices, strong drinks. Nothing fancy, just fun. Not the best wine, but not that kind of place anyway. Great friendly staff.

Nothing fancy about this place, but it was a good low-key night away from the tourists. I'd recommend it if you're not needing a fancy place.

Get away from Bourbon, find a stool and talk with a local. Cheap beer, good conversation, not much else. My kind of place!

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
