Great decor, superb cocktails but the bar person was more interested in talking to the guys at the bar (seemed like businessmen, large tips??!!) than refreshing our cocktails. We really liked the place but hey ladies can tip well too!!
This bar is the gem inside one of the coolest hotels in New Orleans. We were served by the beautiful and knowledgeable Lisa with a couple great cocktails. She made the experience such enjoyable and gave us great tips on upcoming events at the hotel...More
I attended my first burlesque show with my husband at the Burgundy Bar and enjoyed every minute of the show. The women put on a fantastic show, the jazz band is wonderful, and the emcee was very funny. It was a plus to see the...More
I celebrated my 30th birthday in New Orleans and knew I wanted to see a burlesque show while we were there. It was surprisingly hard to schedule something like this several months in advance as many sites I looked at didn't list their events far...More
So the burlesque show was great but the annoyance came with the fact that they apparently over sold the reservation area. We were told that at least 3 times. So our party got stuck at a high top table to the side of the stage....More
A must if you are in New Orleans! The girls were beautiful, classy, and funny. One of my favorite things we did on the trip. The show is free, but for $10, you can get a table up front.. which was nice. And the drinks...More
The bar was not crowded, empty seats. I waited for a good 7 or 8 minutes before the bartendermade eye contact. I waved to signal I wanted to order. Then, he leaned back against the bar for a few minutes and wandered into the back....More
This is a MUST!! The show is held on Friday nights. It is excellent. Very classy and beautiful women. Just what you would expect a burlesque show to be like back in the day. The jazz band was incredible and the mc was hysterical! The...More
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
