This was beautiful. We visited the sculpture garden as part of a half day city park visit and loved it. The sculptures are a fantastic range of styles and mediums and there is plenty of shady walks around the park to keep you out of...More

We stopped off at the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Scupture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. The Garden is thoughtfully laid out with world class sculptures. It took us 1 1/2 to 2 hours to take in the art and enjoy the beauty...More

Next to the New Orleans Art Museum is an extraordinary treasure. The sculpture is exquisite and so is the natural setting and it;'s free.

This has got to be one of the most unorthodox and most beautiful sculpture gardens I've ever been to! The art is out of this world and the wonderful garden that surrounds each piece has been so methodically blended in with the art. You can't...More

This is probably the most interesting part of the City Park. It's a very small sculpture garden you can walk for free. It's right next to the museum.

Extraordinary sculpture in a beautiful setting. Audio tours available, but we just walked and discussed. No charge for this great attraction. Make sure to stop by NOMA as well. Good art museum with some gems as well.

I wasn't necessarily a fan of all the work I saw. But in a way that's the point right, provoke thought! So, with that being said. I think its a must see. It's free. The grounds are beautiful. There's bathrooms.

We had fun looking at all the sculptures - but the best part was eavesdropping on other people's reactions to the art! You have everything from classic to modern to odd. It can be a challenge to get a picture without others in the background.
