Dave was a fun and interesting tour guide. He gave us a lot of information and answered any questions we had. I would recommend it to anyone looking to fill a few hours and find their way around the French Quarter.

Very interesting walking trip around the French Quarter of New Orleans. Dave was friendly and informative, gave a lot of history but not too much to be boring. Tour was not rushed, could ask questions and got lots of recommendations for restaurants and other sites to visit. The tour is free and works on tips. Highly recommend if you are... More

Dave was very knowledgeable. The tour provided interesting facts and stories about the French Quarter. The best part by far was the cemetery tour. It was so interesting!! Definitely recommend going on this tour!

The Nola Tour Guy is every knowledgeable about NOLA history, as well as American history. Mr. Tour Guy kept good time, but didn't rush us. Good value for the $$ (which is free, but please, give a good generous tip).

I think that history majors make the best tour guides and Dave did not disappoint. Great tour of the French Quarter and St. Louis cemetery with a lot of great historical info.

Being a historian, NOLATG gave great detail about the history of the city throughout the changes in the predominant culture (French, Spanish, etc.). We got to walk around the French Quarter and discussed the architecture as well as history of notable people that lived there. Finally the tour wrapped up... More

An awesome tour for those seeking NOLA history at its best. At first, the Tour Guy mentioned we would be staying close in the quarter. To some this may have seemed not what you bargained for, but once the tour started we made multiple stops to chat about what was in that very spot in the 1800's and beyond. Very... More
