We got a chance to visit this historical light house while on the Gray Line tour. So glad that we did, as we learned a more about the area, and the light house. Very interesting facts and guides by an exceptional volunteer group.

As part of our tour we saw Port Pontchatrain lighthouse. Lake Pontchatrain was the major reason for the flooding in Katrina. It was interesting to visit.

This lighthouse is surrounded by the University Of NO. It is on the campus and they don't want you there. You can take pictures from the road.
