All Royal Carriage drivers are licensed tour guides for the City of New Orleans, and also licensed by the Archdiocese to enter the cemetery gates of St. Louis #1, the oldest above ground cemetery in existence in North America. We came late to the square wanting a private tour. KJ and Dr John filled the bill. Great tour and informative very well done and would ask for KJ again, handled things well even when a thoughtless female driver literally nearly broadsided Dr. John because...More

KJ was an amazing guide. He is from NOLA and it showed in his commentary of the city. He was able to make adjustments when roads where closed and still had information and history. Dr. John was a sweet mule and took great care of...More

Our tour guide was Caleb with the carriage pulled by Red. We learned and got a good feel for the French Quarter on our first night in NOLA. We covered a lot of ground without walking. The private tour was fun and worth the price,...More
