I took an afternoon tour at 2:30 and it was okay there's not much to see along the river so it was more relaxing than anything else. You spend 45 minutes going down river you see a sugar plant a couple of navy ships and...More

We're sorry you had an ok experience with us. I do agree that the Queen takes you down the river smoothly, creating a relaxing atmosphere. That is great to hear you felt relaxed. Most just sit back and enjoy the cumulus clouds and the smell...More

We did this trip as a last minute decision, and it was amazing. We were lucky to have great weather, but the real highlight was the tour guide Charles, who entertained and educated us all the way. The stopover at the historic battlefield memorial was...More

Seems like you had a great time! Charles + the State Park Ranger make a good Battle of New Orleans historian team. Thank you for your review.

This trip surpassed all expectations and the reason for this is a gentleman called Charles. He was our narrator or historian on board. He told the story of the Battle of New Orleans in an entertaining way that held your attention the whole time both...More

We went on one of the jazz dinner cruises and enjoyed it. The food wasn't the best we had in NOLA, but music and the views made it worth it.

Truth be told, I've been on the historic river cruise twice now, but neglected to write a review the first time. I got caught up in life. Definitely leaving one now. The first time, a year or two ago, I went solo and just loved...More

We all get caught up in life, especially in the Big Easy. Got to let the good times roll! However, it's great to hear from an expert traveler and returning guest that our historical tour is a great introduction to New Orleans. Also, you got...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

I would've loved it just as much as a solo traveler. As soon as you're done eating, get a drink, head upstairs and enjoy the music as the sun goes down. Not awkward at all.
