Great tourist venue. Historical trip to Chalmette Park up the Mississippi River. Narration by Charles was superb. Narrated without a script, sharing key details, sometimes with some dry humor. Doug also did a great job serving mimosas throughout the cruise, awesome special deal-$10 unlimited. Others were also very friendly. Cruise lasted 2.5 hrs. This was the off season, so the... More

The Historian, Wendell, was fantastic. So knowledgeable, very passionate about his city and its history. He welcomed and encouraged questions from the tourists. When we stopped at the Battle of New Orleans our ranger was there to tell us the story of the battle field. All in all a great tour

My friends and I did this as part of the PowerPass the city offers. The tour was a good way to get the history of Louisiana including the Great War, Louisiana Purchase and Katrina. It was about 3 hours long, with an hour break half way to walk around and be a part of a walking tour. The cruise during... More

I booked the evening Thanksgiving cruise after reviewing the menu online. It looked great. What a disappointment - no TURKEY. Only about 5 of the menu selections were served and those were of inferior quality. This is probably the first time ever we did not have turkey on Thanksgiving!! The excuse was this was their 1st Thanksgiving cruise and they... More

I booked this tour this tour the morning of the tour as I was waiting to see what the weather would do. Although it was windy the afternoon historical river cruise did not disappoint. Wendell was our tour guide and did a nice job giving everyone the highlights of local history. He also spent some time with us personally answering... More

The female narrator/guide on this boat was exceptional. She talked pretty much non stop down the river to the Chalmette Battlefield and back. Her commentary was easy to understand and extremely interesting and she gave an incredible insight into the history of the New Orleans. This was an unexpectedly wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

We purchased the New Orleans city pass for 25 different attractions, was a great value we were able to do 3 events each day. One we chose was the Creole Queen paddle boat. This was a very interesting and insightful trip. We learned a lot about the city of New Orleans and the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina and the... More

We thought a dinner cruise would be a great way to spend Thanksgiving evening. The cruise promised a traditional Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings. It did not deliver! The food overall was terrible. Mash potatoes were dry and the gravy was meat drippings at best. The only other side was candied yams, which I did not taste. Brisket, chicken,... More

We had a great time on the Creole Queen River Boat cruise on Nov. 6, 2016. I was expecting a traditional cruise of the river, but this one was much more than anything we expected! We were treated to a true history of New Orleans and the Mississippi, with special historical emphasis on the Battle of New Orleans. We learned... More
