No trip to New Orleans with them be complete without a visit to Tipitina's. Great music, New Orleans style, along with a great place to drink. Clearly one of my favorite places I've ever been

We saw North Mississippi All-stars. They rocked but was equally or more impressed with the venue. We got there early, saw the opening act, and grabbed a spot upstairs. Close to washroom, bar and with GREAT view of stage. Sound was good and just the...More

Although I am getting older and I didn't think I would stay more than 15 minutes, I stayed for the entire anniversary show with Walter Wolfman Washington and his band. The band connected with the audience in such a way that I completely forgot about...More

Tipitina's is the place to watch local and national acts perform in a small venue atmosphere. It is the house that Professor Longhair built! It is a must visit on your next trip to New Orleans!

Great legendary music venue. Bartenders were friendly, sound was great, and everywhere seemed to have a great view. It does have some drawbacks though. Our tickets said will call at 8:30, doors open at 9. Unfortunately the first act didn't start until 10 and the...More
