Very good tour. Learned a lot and was able to put into context so much of what I'd read about Katrina. LeeAnn was our knowledgeable guide. I paired this with a visit to the Presbytere state museum on Jackson Square for their great Katrina exhibit.

Bike tours are such an excellent way to see a city, and this was no different. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable, and gave us a great overview of NOLA, and specifically Ninth Ward, history. Ron Lewis, a Katrina survivor, was a great addition -...More

Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go

I think any kid that is big enough to ride an adult bike and used to some easy biking with plenty of stops for a couple of hours would be ok with it. I think it would really depend on the kid whether or not they found it... More

On their website (can't link here), it's still $60 plus a donation at the House of Dance and Feathers and lunch and tip if you choose. They say it's an intermediate ride. You cover a lot of ground but over a lot of time. So... More

Shoot, I don't remember the price, but the ride was easy (no hills that I recall). We had to navigate thru a little traffic but it wasn't a big deal and we all stuck together.
