Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The work of talented graffiti artist "BMike", Brandon Odums, is truly amazing and artistic. There are huge murals along with other displays of his creativity that educate and inspire. His passion for expression is impressive. This shouldn't be missed.

This was a powerful experience. Thought provoking, moving, inspiring! We were in New Orleans for the weekend during MLK Day and this by far was the most meaningful way we have ever observed that day in our lives. We learned a lot but were also very challenged & moved by the exhibits as well. Brandan BMike Odums is an important artist telling the story of our nation that everyone needs to hear. These works helped me to lament but also to move forward and inspired to lead with love. I am so glad I could see his works in person. Raw & beautiful! Highly recommend going!!

A friend recommended Studio Be to me and I am soooo thankful I was able to visit. What a beautiful & affordable exhibit! I was honestly blown away by the abstract art and incredible detail, especially from someone determined to get as much of the black experience in New Orleans as possible.
Also super thankful to the staff who allowed me to come after several emails when the booking site initially had the dates of my trip blocked off for filming.
Y'all have got to go!

This space was full of thought provoking conceptual art pieces which we continue to think about more deeply. The artist and the community art included in the gallery were complex and powerfully portrayed. A must see when visiting NO.

We did a self guided tour and would definitely return and book a guided one next time to learn more about the artists and artworks. This exhibit was a whole lot of things all at once - devastating but empowering, strong and vulnerable, beautiful yet sad. Overall, we felt it was a celebration of Black expression, history, and storytelling. We are principals/teachers in Canada but if we were in the school system in Louisiana we would absolutely be booking tours for our schools at Studio Be each year. During a heat wave in NOLA, the warehouses were hot. They did provide personal paper fans and have mechanical fans and waterstations throughout though. This was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. A must see.

GREAT addition to any trip to NOLA. I was moved, truly moved at Studio Be. Mike is very talented with his art as well as with his inspiration and getting people to think / ponder / take action. A must visit.

The exhibition is extraordinary with very powerful social justice statements. New works added since I was last here in 2019. I find it is still one of the most moving exhibits I have seen in quite some time. BMike does great work in the community too.

This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had in New Orleans. If you’re planning to visit the city please stop here, you will not be disappointed. The energy and time that went into this exhibit will move you! We were limited on time and I regret it!! I wish we had more time. There are murals outside of the museum as well. Just gorgeous! This place is gem.

Art should make a person feel and this exhibit gave me all the feels. It is close to Jamnola so my friend and I decided to do both and save an Uber ride. Studio Be and the message brought us to tears. It is an amazing studio with a powerful message.

This visit and gallery will challenge (and inspire) the way you see things. It reminds us of the power of art... the power to move us, to change us. It's a warehouse converted into a gallery, including contemporary and interpretive art pieces and massive, spray-painted canvases that cause us to tip our heads back and hold the beauty and enormity of what they represent. And scattered throughout the space are messages, poems, lyrics that serve to inspire new visions, a re-imagination of what the world can be. If you find yourself in the neighborhood, note that the exterior buildings may not match your expectations of art or gallery... but the large murals in the area hint at what's inside this amazing space. I tell any visitor to put it at the top of there New Orleans to-do list.

I’m planning to come there with my son who is in a wheelchair. Is this spot accessible for us to move around inside?
