I was just in New Orleans last week (May 12-16, 2018) and walked past this after a night of heavy drinking in the Bywater. It's on Rampart. I wasn't sure if it was real Banksy or a Banksy copycat but upon further investigation on the...More

Don't look at the map location, it's a block north on the corner of Rampart. It's a cool example of street art. I thought it was worth a little walk and search.

Of the 14 Banksy murals in New Orleans only 3 remain. This is arguably the most iconic one of the 3 and also the one in the safest location. It's also quite easy to find. It has not been covered in Perspex.

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to
some of the most revered live music venues in New
Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining

I am not sure if it is. It is covered with plexiglass. It is pretty cool. And worth checking out.
