Took 5 of my grandchildren here, ages 6 to 14. They all loved it and never got bored. Free flight of the butterflies was beautiful and some butterflies even landed on the kids clothes. Be sure to wear bright colored shirts in hopes of some...More

This was a very nice place to take my children during the day and it is a nice short walk from the aquarium.

Very beautiful and informative place. The Japanese garden was my favorite. It's inside the federal building so you have to get through metal detector.

This place is just amazingly perfect for little (and not-so-little) boys. Little girls like it too for the butterflies! It is interesting and the staff is very engaging. Don't go if you are squeamish of creepy-crawlies! I went once several years ago and it has...More

I visited the insectarium with my family and we really enjoyed it! The museum was very interactive and my sisters really enjoyed touching the millipedes and the “cave” where there was a pop out tarantula. The only problem with our visit was the screen shorting...More

This had some fun exhibits but the butterfly house is small and limited compared to St Louis and other butterfly houses; by and large, it's a bit small of an overall place. Security is horrifically grumpy and inept. Don't ask me what I have in...More
