The area
Address
Neighbourhood: French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.

I’ve NEVER been so utterly creeped out in my life and I can’t even explain how awful it made me feel! I highly recommend you look at the pictures before you go and DO NOT take kids of any age to this horror shop!!

If you’re a fan of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, you do not want to miss this store and cafe. The shopkeeper Erin showed us a prop from The Vampire Diaries! It was the grave marker from Damon Salvatore with his name and the years 1839-1863. I also bought the first in a series of 4 books by New Orleans writer Alys Arden. There is even a coffin you can stand in and get a pic. It was the most fun we had while in NOLA.

I know this is what some people are looking for so I'm not giving a "bad" review, but for the others, I just thought you should know. I could feel a very thick, negative energy in this place that I have never felt in the French Quarter. Please be careful exposing yourself to places like this as it can get attached to you. I immediately went to the vampire cafe around the block and I couldn't feel anything comparable there so I'm pretty sure it wasn't just me... Anyways, be careful with spiritual energy. Also, many of the witchcraft shops I went to didn't have this feeling. They may have cast spells on the space or something.

Loved this shop! Stumbled upon on it on one of our many walking adventures. I love all the art from local artists. A lot of unique pieces and a lot to look at. From jewelry to art prints and tarot cards etc. I left with a beautiful major arcana card set for a friend. The quality is 10/10 and it was the perfect gift. I’ll definitely come back for more gifts and personal items next time I visit NOLA.

Erin and Francis were so cool , the store was so much fun to shop in and my daughter found a black spider web parisol that she has been looking for for a while. We got to see all the vampy relics from vampire shows and movies. We were even told a cool password to get into a private room of a bar for vamps. If you go to New Orleans don’t skip this place !

Highly Recommended! We look forwarded to visiting the Boutique every time we are in New Orleans. They have such unique and creative gifts. The owner is very supportive of local artists! During our last visit we bought a Plague Doctor Doll! They have several different types and each are one of a kind. Everyone loves it!
