this park was part of the super city tour we took. beautiful part with old trees, plenty of shade and a nice café. highly recommend a walk around

Take a break from partying and meander through City Park...my parents used to bring me here in the early 60s in a stroller, had a fantasyland there but its long gone. Nice old mossy trees and cypress.

Stopped here on our Freewheeling bike tour and there is lots to see and explore, definitely worth a trip back.

I love this park. We walked through the Forrest trails and went to the Botanical Gardens and even though we didn't have our kids with us we walked through Story Land This park is Awesome.

Went through the park on the way to Lake P on a tour. Beautiful park so full of life and beauty! Would spend more time there the next time we go to NOLA.

It does not operate year round. Daily train ride begin when the Carousel Gardens amusement park opens on Saturday March 6, 2018. You can receive more information on the new orleans city park website

I’m not sure exactly what your question is. They do not have strollers for babies to rent like the zoo. But if you are going you definitely need a stroller because there is quite a lot of walking to be done.
