Very disappointing. We expected excellent music. She cannot sing and we paid to see audience members sing lame songs. Don’t do it.

Ellis Marsalis is a treasure and always collects the finest musicians to play with him. This show is routinely scheduled at this place and it is the finest quality jazz. I went on a Friday night and it was the highlight of my vacation in...More

We had a wonderful meal, great service, and were not rushed. Next time we will be sure to sign up ahead of time for the show which sadly we missed but could hear the music floating in the air while we dinned.

Our group of 6 dined here this week. The service and food was excellent! We were fortunate to also enjoyed jazz music being played in the back room. Definitely recommend Snug Harbor if you are in the Frenchman arena.

Caught two shows at Snug Harbor and enjoyed them both. The Uptown Jazz Orchestra was excellent as was The Ellis Marsalis Quintet. Suggest getting there a bit early as seating is limited but well worth. Great venue - great jazz!

Small, intimate, with lots of personality. The acoustics were surprisingly good, even in the upper levels where we were. They draw top-line talent and the performance did not disappoint. It's about as New Orleans as a place gets.

The quarter is loud and raucous and fun. But when you’ve had enough, Frenchman’s is the place to go! This super busy place was recommended by friends and locals. They don’t take reservations so you may have a wait. The host was super busy but...More

We popped in here for dinner during the Chewbacchus parade. It was about a 30 minute wait for a table in the dining room but we enjoyed a drink in the bar area while we waited. Menu was limited. Burger was good but nothing special....More

Check to see who is performing at this intimate jazz club. We listened in on Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra - it was awesome and creowded. The music is not amplified - allowing you to hear the depth of orchestra and the soloists....More

The restaurant is in a separate room, but you can hear the music clearly from the restaurant, and the restaurant would be more suitable than the music venue with a small child. I don't know about high chairs. Try... More

We would recommend parking a little further away and taking the street car. It is a wonderful experience. We got a cab out of there because that specific street car had closed. Just be sure to check the schedule. Also, on... More

I agree with Stephen. They're in separate locations of the building. I would go earlier and try to get seated in the performance area.
