Ride with us at Confederacy of Cruisers, New Orleans original and oldest...

Ride with us at Confederacy of Cruisers, New Orleans original and oldest bike tour company. Going on 10 years of great tours and great customers keeping us feeling like the luckiest folks in New Orleans every day when we come to work. The tour that started them all and our others, the Culinary, the History of Drinking and our combined Pedal to Paddle with our friends at Kayakityat.

New Orleans is so more than the French Quarter and we want to show you what most visitors don't get to experience. The heart of our city is seen through its other historic neighborhoods on the Creole side of Town, the beautiful Faubourg Marignyand Bywater; and there is no better way to explore them than with New Orleans' original bicycle tour company. Join us as we take you for a bike ride around the old streets and tell you the stories of the New Orleans that most tourists miss. The ride is relaxed, with plenty of time to ask questions, and a stop along the way at a neighborhood bar where you can find out all you want about local life while drinking a delicious Bloody Mary, if you like (water or nothing are also fine choices). For those who want to delve a little deeper, we offer a tasty Neighborhood Culinary Tour and a Historic Drinking Tour (where you get to indulge as you learn), all travelling through our our city like the locals do, on easy to ride classic cruiser bicycles. One speed, slow.

This was my second bike tour with Confederacy of Cruisers and it never disappoints! We did the historic bar tour and it was SO MUCH FUN! Our tour guide Leah was so fun, engaging, knowledgeable, and just an all around awesome human being! I always recommend visitors to NOLA to take a few hours and do a tour with these... More

Our tour guide Keith was so cool. He knows NOLA history and scene like nobody's business, and it's a joy to follow him down neighborhood streets and see the true colors of New Orleans come alive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Confederacy of Cruisers was the PERFECT way to spend a day during our Bachelorette trip. We had a packed itinerary, but our time with Cassady was a huge highlight. All seven of us were completely taken with him - I know it's something we'll remember forever. THANK YOU!

Keith provided an amazing tour of Nola. My brother and I had a great time on the Creole Tour and learned quite a bit. I'm a bit of a history buff, and this was the most interesting discussion I've ever been a part of. Keith is entertaining, informative, knowledgeable and generally fun to be around. I highly recommend this tour.

We took the Creole tour with Cassady. He was very engaging and definitely knew his stuff. I just wish we could have heard him while biking. Whomever was riding directly behind him got a lot of extra tidbits, but no one else could hear.

My husband and I did the Creole tour and it was both really fun and educational. Laura is a wealth of knowledge on anything and everything New Orleans. Highly recommend you do this tour! Gets you outside the tourist traps and allows you to see parts of the city you otherwise wouldn't.

Jeff and team did a fantastic job for our Historical New Orleans Drinking Tour. Jeff knows all, the bikes are perfect, the cup holders work like a charm, and given the right weather the good times just roll right down your throat. Seriously it's a great take and excellent way to see NO. You get a good feel for some... More

Took the culinary tour offered by COC, after reading a positive review in a magazine. My goal in New Orleans was to sample as much local food, off the usual tourist track, as possible and boy did this deliver. The guide was excellent, with a genuine passion for food that you cannot fabricate, and a local knowledge to match. Don't... More

Staying in Faubourg Marigny & Bywater

Neighbourhood Profile
Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward, the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely residential. Of course, folks around here love to go out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the festivities, well then so much the better! Home to some of the most revered live music venues in New Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining destinations, and a come-as-you-are vibe that’s as infectious as it is alluring, this is real deal New Orleans oozing with southern hospitality and the promise of a most epic night out. For endless opportunities to boogie, to admire row upon row of lovingly restored homes, and to escape the fray of the more touristic parts of town (but still live it up in grand style) head to Faubourg Marigny & Bywater.
