Popular attraction near the river and next to Jackson Square. Breathtaking views from the inside, and very reverent feel...nice place for photo ops, both inside and outside.

Painted ceilings and beautiful interior was filled with Christmas jazz music on December 4th evening visit. Wonderful time! Plan your trip for one of these free music presentations in this old cathedral.

Definitely worth stopping in to see this beautiful, old, cathedral. Visitors are welcome to tour this iconic building and catch a moment of peace and tranquility. The ceilings are ornate and painted, the stained glass ornate and lovely.

Went to a Holy Day Mass here and the interior is absolutely breathtaking! The Mass was beautiful and the pipe organ sounded lovely!

We attempted to visit the cathedral but were unable to stay long as we had coffee in hand. We would have appreciated some better signage outside of the entrance letting us know that we couldn't enter if we were holding a to-go cup of coffee.

A great place for a quick stop. Beautiful. I believe this is the oldest Cathedral in the US as well.

The appearance of the Cathedral sticks out amidst the park and local buildings. It is a majestic centerpiece in the plaza and worth a stop to take in.

This beautiful cathedral is the first one established in the US. The stations of the cross are worth the visit. Plus amazing history. Still in use for daily services. But all are welcome to visit...and worship or not. Attended a lovely holiday concert here. Wonderful.

My wife and I visited in early December 2017. Being Catholic we appreciated this church and its role in the history of New Orleans. a Definate must see off Jackson Square.

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
