Is simple, is still in the middle of nothing. No big buildings around and pure nature and local people around. The ocean is clear and they are many tide pools to enjoy. Amazing for snorkeling, swimming, having a beer, etc. Is this beach with some...More

It’s off the beaten path but definitely worth it. Great place to swim, sunbathe and chill. Love this beach. We go here every time we go to Costa Rica

This is a more remote area, and accessed via a gravel road for about 20 miles. It’s a lovely beach, with lots of rocks, tons of shells, minimal people. If you roll that way, then this is for you. Away from crowds is what this...More

White sand beach great to relax! It's a local beach, very quiet, mid size waves / great for swimming or some walk around. A couple of places to eat unless you want to bring your own stuff. Highly recommended!

Travel will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes (60 km) from Tamarindo to San Juanillo. You need a 4wd vehicle to get there. The place definitely worth it.
