Just beautiful - reminds me of wandering about Saint Petersburg, Russia at dusk. The lights upon the Capitol building are magnificent. The surrounding area - especially State Street - are lovely.

Parking is a bit iffy, but there's plenty of shops, restaurants & the Capitol, of course, to make it worthwhile. You can walk to the University & many other museums.

Decided to go to the farmer's market and I was not disappointed. There are so many vendors that it is difficult to leave empty handed!!! Being by the capitol, it was really convenient to do the capitol tour after completing the market.

This is one of the greatest capitol squares in the country, especially for the Saturday farmers' market but also for summer Concerts on the Square and some great restaurants.

The Capital Square is a place with superb views of the Capital building. It is a park surrounding the Capital building. There are nice walkways from there.

I'm really not certain. I believe the Capitol has guided tours and is handicap accessible.
