This meticulously restored museum bath house is the Visitor's Center for Hot Springs National Park. Plan on spending at least an hour here seeing the history of the area and the bath house experience. Not to be missed is the elaborate tile work and stained glass. Plus the visit is free!

We did the self guided tour and we enjoyed reading the signs and viewing the artifacts. Very glad we visited.

This was a nice place to visit. Full of information, as well as an interesting tour of how the bathhouses used to operate. I appreciated the acknowledgment of the local history both the good and not so good. Overall a very beautiful place with access to lots of information and history of the area.

Our first stop in town was the visitor center where we were treated to a very informative walk through of this historic bath house. Also got information for hikes in the park.

We spent a half day touring Fordyce Bathhouse in Hot Springs National Park. The park service has done a nice job preserving the bathhouse - it's like stepping back in time. We enjoyed our visit. It's an interesting stop if you are in the area.

We had no idea that there would be an original (for the most part) bathhouse to tour. You can take a guided tour with a Park Ranger or tour on your own which is what we did. There is a short movie you can view prior to touring. Plan on at least an hour. There are elevators.

We arrived on a busy Saturday and elected to tour the Bathhouse on our own as a guide at front desk shared that tours were based on staff being available...potentially the next one would not be offered until the afternoon. We made do on our own and enjoyed the offerings. It was an interesting facility with lots of history and... More

The Fordyce Bathhouse is very interesting and historically beautiful. My 8-year old daughter was very intrigued. A must during your trip to Hot Springs.
