This place is lovely. Lake is great and great hike. If it is hot, you need to take plenty of water. We visited in March, so it was very comfortable. Hike is not always smooth.

This lake is HUGE and has a lot to offer if you are a fisherman/fisherwoman and if you have a kayak, canoe, or boat. I came here with my boyfriend during spring break and this was one of our favorite places. You can see the...More

I visited the place after so many excellent reviews. But disappointed. We don't do fishing or boating, so we had nothing to do there. No seating area from where you can seat and enjoy the view. No picnic tables. Even the way to the beach...More

This Arkansas State Park is a hidden gem. It’s main attraction is the beautiful lake. There are campgrounds and also newer camper cabins. The day we visited the visitor center, the employees were friendly and knowledgeable-everything we come to expect from AR State Parks. Bring...More

It is the best lake around Hot Springs! Cleaner than Lake Hamilton and Catherine! There is so much to do on the lake. Try booking a room at Mountain Harbor resort and taking part in all they have to offer!

Lake Quachita is a hidden gem. It is extremely clean and calm. No hustle and bustle like Lake Hamilton. It feels like you have the entire lake to yourself, wear water shoes for pulling up on the islands if you are there by boat.

I went out on Lake Ouachita with friends to view the eclipse. What a beautiful setting. The eclipse, of course, was wonderful, but just gliding across this lake in a pontoon boat is a winderful experiience in itself.

Huge lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Scenery around it is very nice too. Several places to hang out, camp, or put a boat in.

Pontoon boats can be rented at the marina starting at 8 am in the morning. The pontoon boat will easily hold your entire group including pets.
