Trail Days

My folks stayed at the Stoney Creek cabin and the place was wonderful! The cottage is beautiful and very affordable. I recommend this over a hotel any day.

We visit scioto trails often. The scenery is beautiful and u can rent canoes and pedal boats, fish and swim. There are also two cabins for rent and camping spots.

A great place to take your children and family to have picnics and family reunions during the spring, summer and early fall.

We booked a three day family tent camping event in August. Upon arriving we were told there were no showers though the website said otherwise and that the camp store would be closed due to the clerks days off and the other clerk was on vacation. It's gorgeous out here. We hiked to the top of sugarloaf mountain and it was beautiful. The climb was quite strenuous and not for the faint of heart. I wouldn't recommend the climb for small kids or those who are severely out of shape. There aren't many facilities either for picnics etc.

This is a beautiful place to take a drive or a hike. South central Ohio is rich with history, from early native American history to events important to Ohio as a state. This natural area has attractive roadways, and bountiful wildlife, to the observant traveler!

This state park is very well maintained and their hiking trails are well marked, easy to moderate hiking. They have a couple small lakes and some picnic facilities. Very pleasant place to explore.

Nice views and trails. Easy to find and park. Rustic facilities but clean. One trail was a very steep climb but do-able

There are two lakes with picnic areas and walking trails, a fire tower you can climb with a breathtaking view. Camping is available with electric hookups and a small store. No showers out houses.
