Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Good points:
1. The main highlights were chances to feed the goats, sheeps, wallabies and fishes. There were many babies so the kids loved feeding the babies.
2. Giant pond about two football fields was great for pedaling swan boats and feeding Koi fishes.
3. Cool weather in January meant all animals were out and about, enjoying themselves. We saw the lion couple cuddling, and the five (1-metre) bears playing.
4. The shuttle service was fast and stopped at every station about 20 metres apart. I guess there weren't many customers visiting during the tail end of winter (January), so the buggy drivers were very attentive in looking out for those that needs a ride.
Observation on what can be improved:
Back in the 70s/ 80s, many zoos were privately run and not well funded by the government (thinking about the family that runs a zoo in, "Life of Pi"). This zoo definitely gave off similar vibes --- where they just put together animals they have purchased from around the world, trying their best to take care of them, minimal staff training on animal welfare. Like all private profit-driven establishments, improvements can only be made when the owner has and willing to inject more funds.
So hopefully when that happens, those animals that seemed to be all alone (e.g. crocodile, baboon, elephant, python) will be accompanied by some friends soon? You know, to increase animal welfare. Also, build enclosures that don't rust easily and grow sturdier plants?

This is a free service from FLC group when I stay in hotel. They have a small park with sone of animals but the weather is not really good for them. I think they have to change the suitable animal for this park.

Tickets for the zoo came with our hotel rate at the FLC Luxury Hotel (a 10 minute walk from the zoo.) Honestly, I was not sure what to expect from this experience but I have to say that I was incredibly impressed - and I am not generally a fan of zoos. We skipped the electric cart means of getting around and walked to take things at our own pace. It's not an enormous zoo so take it at your own pace. This zoo was really remarkable for a few reasons. First, I cannot recall a zoo where the animals were so active and interactive. Perhaps it was the time of day (9am) but the lions and bears actually came up to the glass to greet us. The monkeys were swinging around. The ostriches were running around their enclosure. Second, the animals all seemed so clean and well-fed. We'd heard stories of zoos all around the world facing challenges during COVID due to shrunken funding streams but we were very pleasantly surprised here. The zoo staff also seemed to truly care about the animals - especially the tiger keeper who fed the tigers while we were there. It's true, none of the staff spoke English but I am not sure why this is so surprising to so many visitors. This is a small zoo in a relatively small tourist market. But with a bit of effort, we communicated just fine. I would not skip this attraction!

Bad place for wild animals, it's sandy and hot, so there has just a few ones! Expensive price! Bad services! It's totally not worth visiting.

Dear Mai,
I’m sorry to know that your experience in our safari park. We will work harder to provide you and your family better experience the next time you visit.
Due to the signature tropical weather of Quy Nhon, the animals in our safari are selected carefully and can adapt to the hot – sandy environment.
We are welcoming more tigers and white lions to widen your experience at our safari. Please come visit again soon.
Thank you!

Overall very bad staff communication, can’t speak english.
They said wait fifteen minute for the car, I waited more than thirty minutes. I ordered the car ticket for 10 people, but they made it to a hourse cart tickets. Because of that, they let other people who came later than me go first to ride the normal cars. Furthermore, The animals were kept very poorly and the hourse cart’s hourse was treated poorly, and the hourse was bleeding from the foot. I decided to walk instead of riding the cart.
I would not want to come to this place again, unless the animal treatments improve.

This zoo was marketed as an animal conservation establishment. The exhibits are poorly designed and are not clean. There was trash in many of the exhibits and we witnessed kids throw trash in the bear exhibit with no reaction from the staff.
The elephant was alone and mental stimulation for the animals was severely lacking.
The animals generally appear distressed and bored, while staff don’t appear engaged.
The impression of all 3 in our group was immense disappointment and hope the animals are transferred elsewhere to live happier lives. We feel bad that we contributed to the continuation of this zoo.
We don’t recommend and would advise anyone who is considerate of animals to pass on this “attraction”.

FLC is developing Vietnam in a bad direction. Zoo's are just not good for animals. And thank a lot for privatising all of the beaches in the area. Selfish!

Dear sunesteffens,
Thank you for taking your time to review us.
We understand your point on the zoo and wild animals. We assure you all animals in our Safari is taken care of in the best way possible, we have carefully selected the animals that can adapt to Binh Dinh weather and they are well fed.
Not only being a part of the Beach & Golf resort, the Safari also creates a place for family to hang out altogether and the kids can learn and appreciate wildlife more.
We hope you have a pleasant time in Quy Nhon.
Thank you!

The title says it all,
Lions, elephants and others are not born to be humans entertainment toys. So sad to see all of them in their little parks where they can't even run, jump or fly freely.

My son liked the zoo. But it should be more activities for children such as feeding animal, rowing boat, riding horse, elephants,...

The response from the zoo staff to bad reviews is that they will train themselves to be better Etc. What has been done in response to these reviews towards making the park better? I have traveled all across Asia and am appalled at the condition of the animals in various parks and reserves and the lack of care that the staff shows. Is this another one of these Parks - according to a review it is. I would love to come see animals but I don't want to see animals that looked like they would prefer to die than to continue living in those conditions. Is your Park one of these?
