You're almost guaranteed to see Elk, Jungle Fowl, or another kind of local animal on this beautiful hike through some of the best landscapes I have seen along my extensive travels. The path is very well made though the terrain changes a lot from plains and hills to streams and waterfalls. You have to go very early in the morning... More

it was awesome, you can see miles of mountains & cloud forests. on a really clear day you can even see all the way to the sea!! go early as the mist settles in as the sun comes up & reduces visibility. will need to 3.5 km to reach this spot. Its an easy walk through sometimes open grassland &... More

My husband and I are into trekking. On our recent visit to Srilanka, we were looking for options to trek. Unfortunately, we were not able to do the Adam's peak because it was off season. However, we did do the Horton Plains and absolutely loved it. This place offers some of the BEST views - mountains, plains, rocks, grasslands, waterfalls... More

Probably we had a bit too high expectations of World's End, but the viewing area seemed quite small. Personally I preferred Mini World's End, which had a better view than main... The walk is not too challenging, so majority of people can easily do it, what probably makes it so popular.

We went here two days after we did Adams Peak, so our legs were a little bit tired. Otherwise we would have walked a little bit more easier as it isn't a hard track. We even saw elder people ;) In total it took us 3 hours from start to finish, including breakfast and making pictures. Most appealing were the... More

We started our Sri Lanka tour with this trek of 3-4 hrs in the Hortons Plains National Park. Our kids enjoyed the great leisurely walk up to World's End points and then to the water fall and back following the round trail. If you love to walk and feels close to nature and this is the place for you!

9km circular trail which takes in mini world's end, world's end and baker falls. A few uneven sections of the walk but nothing too challenging. Views were spectacular from world's end. Arrive as early as possible to avoid crowds and mist.

Takes 1.5hrs to get there from Nuwara Eliya along a windy narrow road. Expensive national park fee per person for 3-4 hours. Great walk Approximately 10-12 km round trip walking not too strenuous but need to wear appropriate clothes, shoes and hat and take drinking water. Need to start no later than 8am. Incredible views and landscapes.
