We visited the Sita temple today and had a good darshan. The temple was well maintained. Saw hanuman foot and the water runs below the temple.

One of our most significant visits in Nuwara Eliya was the Aśoka Vana in Sītā Eliya. Here, at the Sītā Amman Kồvil, a quaint little Kồvil, we had the MOST DIVINE DARŚAN of ŚRĪ SĪTĀ DÉVI (to Whom primarily this Kồvil is dedicated) - ŚRĪ...More

Colourful but very small. You have to take your shoes off. Since there is not much to visit in the region, you loose nothing to pass by. Plus it's a free entrance

Sita temple has a great relevance in Hindu religion. Sita ji stayed at this place during the Ramayana. You can feel the peace when visit here. There is a mountain which has a face same like hanuman. A must see and visit the place.
