This was outstanding...I like others who have reviewed this did not know much about Hoover. The exhibits are very informative and demonstrate how quickly we judge people and are usually incorrect in our assumptions. A great learning experience for us all.

I did not know very much about Herbert Hoover so the visit to the Presidential library was very informative. It is very well laid out and a truly beautiful place.

For someone who enjoys American history this is a fantastic place to visit! Very informative and a great insight into Hoover’s life. Sad that they didn’t go into details about his FBI oversight (probably because he was unpopular during this) but nonetheless a terrific attraction...More

The museum is very special as you will learn things about Hoover that you did not know. The library paints a very sympathetic picture of Hoover's presidency, and suggests that many of FDR's programs were an extension of Hoover's initiatives. Although I am admittedly not...More

Very interesting museum. I grew up near West Branch but didn’t know much about President Hoover before the museum trip. He deserves much more recognition for all he accomplished in his life.

The approx 20 minute video plays at the top of the hour, so unless you are lucky or well-planned, you may need to start the exhibits, exit for the movie, them come back to the exhibits. We thought the displays were very good and not...More

At this museum, you'll learn about President Hoover and our US history. He was an amazing man--first graduation class at Stanford, mining engineer, humanitarian, Secretary of Commerce, President, etc. His wife, Lou, was also amazing, especially for her work with the Girl Scouts. So convenient,...More

This is a wonderful museum with eight galleries of information and artifacts about Herbert Hoover and his wife, Lou. My husband and I stopped on Sunday afternoon and toured the museum. There is a 25 minute documentary to watch and we both learned a lot...More

Yes. The Library is right in town, is if not in the parking lot, which is quite large, it is only a very short walk from downtown. Definitely worth a visit, as it is a very well done Library.

Margaret Hoover visits the Museum several times a year, she does not do specific speaking engagements but often participates in the annual celebration the first weekend in August.
