This is a fantastic presidential library. It takes approximately 3 hours to see/read all the interesting items in the building. Don't miss HST's library office.

I didn't have great expectations particularly since I have read a fair amount about Truman but I thought the museum was well done in something of an odd way. It's clearly old if not a little run down but that doesn't take away from the content and how much there is to learn and see. Came away with a great... More

Small admission fee with discount for military service. Tour starts with a short video that sets the stage for the remainder of the exhibits. once you leave the movie you then begin the walk through the life and times of Harry S. Truman. It proved to be a learning experience as each portion of this life was accompanied by a... More

I was so excited because of being able to bring him to the Library and Museum to learn so many things to help him from his report down to playing his character (in dress attire) while reading his report this coming week. He... More

Learned many interesting facts about Harry Truman. He was a smart, gutsy Midwestern gentleman. The type of President we need more of.

Well worth the trip. Great informational films before you enter the museum to discover the life of President Truman. I would like to have seen more about the decision to use the atomic bomb, but there is so much more to Truman's presidency than that. Take your time and visit the library office, the grave site in the courtyard, and... More
