Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very beautiful waterfall located abit remot in the jungle.
Abit of a difficult drive to get there and hard to find but very beautiful and majestic and very refreshing to take a swim.
Parking for both cars and motorbikes.
Some stairs leading down to the falls after you pay a small entrance fee

Yes, i love waterfalls.waterfalls nobody seems to know - hidden in Bali's beautiful nature. I found this one per accident - I forced my driver to leave the main road to go to this Air Terjun! Lucky i did! It's not a big one, so no tourist knows 😂 I think I was the first one to go there. The local people there were happy to see me. And with a small "donation" the guided me to this nice Air Terjun. Pass by when going to Sidemen Area! Take your bathing outfit with u!

As long as you use your GPS to get you reasonably close by the waterfall is well marked and hard to miss. It's a bit of a narrow trail toward the end so if you're not confident on a scooter you can walk the last couple of hundred metres to the 'setting off' point, where you'll meet smiling helpful locals who seem genuinely pleased to meet you and grateful that you've come to visit their little corner of the world. From there it's down about 100-150 steep but very manageable steps to the waterfall itself. The surroundings are lush and green, and there's a wonderful feeling of peace and tranquility to the place. The water is chilly but very bathe-able, and it makes for great photographs.
There is no entrance fee per-se but they do ask for donations, 10-20,000 per person should be sufficient.

Five minute trek after parking! Be prepared to leave a small donation before entering. Stand umderneath the waterfall. It's refreshing. I enjoyed myself!

I set off from Manggis Garden Resort with an amazing guide that my hosts (Atun and Bruno) arranged for me. One thing I love about the way it was arranged is the fairness of price and the transparency.

My guide was wonderful. His limited English was not a problem. He showed many interesting things along the way and was very cheerful and helpful.

The walk is slippy in places (especially in the wet season) and also very steep in places. People with any walking challenges might not be best suited to this walk. Also try to set off early as the heat soon catches you and makes it very sweaty.

A lot of the walk is on surfaced roads as well and they are easy but steep stretches going through small villages. Great photo opportunities!

There is a place to sign a book and make a donation before going down teh steps to teh waterfall. Again this is voluntary but it helps maintain the steps and path and hand rails so please give something. It's not a lot to ask!

The final steps are tough going and in places muddy but it is worth it. The waterfall is superb and you can swim in it so long as you have swimming kit. There are signs saying no naked swimming!

I loved it and absolutely recommend it with teh guide that Manggis Garden arranged for me. Ending up again in the Manggis Garden for a fantastic lunch. A perfect day all round.
