One of Bali's best kept places. It's a bit of a hike from the tourist areas ,but it's worth it. Beautiful place . Clear water, clean lots of choices for food and seating. Sellers not at all pushy. Best day out .

I loved everything about this experience. The drive from Klungkung is beautiful and nearly all coastline and as you get nearer, the vistas of Mount Agung are suitably imposing. The drive to the beach after paying the entrance fee is a little uneven and bumpy, but there is a point when you round a bend and see your beautiful destination stretched out below you. It’s a WOW! moment. The beach is well serviced with clean toilets with tissue paper and working flushes. The eateries are numerous and of good quality and on the day that I visited the beach was not crowded and there were no large groups, just couples and small families. The water was calm, shallow and blue green without litter.It felt a little more upmarket to the regular public beaches of Bali. On the day we were there, we left around 4pm as did many other tourists and the beach became a popular spot for locals to hang out.

A gorgeous beach that feels unspoiled. Good amenities, restaurants, showers, toilets, changing rooms. With fresh fish dishes galore. The ocean is swimmable but strong with some big waves. There is a small fee to enter the beach area maybe 20k pp and the car park is at the bottom of the hill.
