- JaseYork, United Kingdom42 contributionsShort but Sweet (1 hour)Lovely waterfall with a small fresh water pool at the bottom. To get to it there are plenty of steps down, and then back up to the car park. Beautiful views from the cafe at the top over the jungle! This is something I’d do on the way somewhere. It’s not worth a long drive as you could do it all in 30 mins if you’re fit and quick. Otherwise budget an hour for this. Skip the swings here and go to Alas Harum instead!Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 8 October 2023
- theglenyas4Basel, Switzerland21 contributionsWorth stopping at the pretty walk and waterfallGreat waterfall in a lovely lush green setting. Well maintained. Quite a lot of steps down (and up!) but a nice swimming hole at the bottom. Swings close to the top and a little bar make a nice spot to rest on a hot day. Restaurant serving fairly standard food, a bit pricey but not terrible, nice view. Clean western toilet at the entrance.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 25 January 2024
- Jodi D1 contributionBeautiful but challenging climbThe waterfall and surround area are beautiful. I would advise if you have problems knees or hips. Don’t try walking to the fall. The steps are varied and very slippery and muddy. For an everyday middle aged person the climb is hard. Also wear sensible shoes that minimise the slipping.Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 26 March 2024
- Justin Han42 contributionsBeautiful waterfall with scenic hike and good photo spotsA short hike up and down stairs is required to get to the waterfall. On the way, you will also see the famous IG swings that are available for a price. The hike was nice and scenic with viewing decks making for good photo spots. The waterfall was also not too crowded when we arrived in the morning and could take photos quickly before leaving. Would recommend potential visitors to bring insect repellant or patches as the mosquitos seem to be in the area.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 23 May 2024
- Ole Blue EyesTustin, California186 contributionsNice humid short walkOur group of nine with five kids did this short hike during part of our day tour. There was an entrance fee which was small. Although not a long walk water is recommended, it’s quite humid down in the thick of that jungle, and you do have to climb many steps on the way out. That said, there is a medium sized fall at the end with some cooling mist there. Plenty of vegetation and photo ops along the route as well. There’s even an area for the influencers to do that giant swing thing for an exorbitant fee.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 11 July 2024

The first thing is the drive from Central Ubud to the waterfall is just through a few smart little towns/villages and nothing really to see. The entrance fee of 50 000k was a bit of a surprise as entrance used to be free and then rose to approx 20 000 for other waterfalls. There are approx 300 steps that I think would be slippery in rainy season. The is a theme park vibe with restaurant ( charging almost 3 times local prices) and a swing that comes with some synthetic trailing fabric to wrap around the waist. The actual waterfall flowed gently and lacked power and energy. There is a large boulder in front of the waterfall where you que up for your 15 minutes to clasp social media attraction and gain some likes.
I walked down stream and found a lone spot on a rock and took in some sun away from the tourists.
What is best about Leke Leke waterfall is the drive through the jungle to the far more impressive NungNung Waterfall.

The entry to the Waterfall goes via leke leke restaurant. We went there for a lunch. Food is tasty and not expensive (considering the view! ). They were unfortunately out of their famous orange chicken at 1 pm already! But the food we had was very nice, so I would definitely recommend it if you are nearby!

You have to pay The ticket to go in and they Will give you stick to help you to walk, and Its very useful since we went there in pouring rain and slippery trek.
There’s also some instagramable photo Spot and 2 swings facing The hills to enjoy right after you enter The gate
It was about 15min walks, quite easy walk So my 8 Year old daughter loves it. Can smell The ripes fruit along The way. If Its not in rainy season, The water would be clear but still worth to visit and to Enjoy

This was such a beautiful experience. I highly recommend. The walk down was a little muddy but they give you a walking stick. Entree was 75IND but the trail was well maintained and worth the fee. There had been heaps of rain so the pool was a bit muddy but still good to swim in.

It is a fair walk down well maintained steps and paths to the bottom and then a walk through a jungle path and the falls get louder and louder. Then you see them.
They are beautiful. Again a place to get to early to avoid the crowds as there is limited room for taking photos, as the boulder all stand on becomes a preening stage for the wannabe models to pose on for 100's of photos as they change poses, whip their sarongs and scarves about while the queue gets longer and longer.
They do not think about others but it is worth the walk down and then back up.

It's a nice and tall waterfall. Keep in mind in order to reach it you need to walk for about 15 minutes but the pathway is not hard. You can also visit another smaller waterfall but this one is easier to reach. The waterfall have an entrance fee but it's not too expensive. They also have a place where you can take a snack or a drink. These waterfalls can be visited after seeing the temple of Ulun Danu which is not very far.

Nice but not deserving a specific trip. A relatively small waterfall indeed in the middle of the vegetation but nothing spectacular. To take pictures you need to wait for other tourists who want to have dozens of positions taken before leaving the spot.
That being said, local team is extremely nice and you can benefit from a very lovely bar to take a drink after having climbed the dozens of stairs !

A lovely experience. Try to go early and avoid after rain. Many steps but worth it. At the top stop for a drink at the Bar. The lovely Wayan Jerry is there. Super friendly and chatty. Great service!
