Went there for lunch to try the famous veggie burritos and were very happy with what we found: awesome location, very chilled environment and delicious food and drinks! Awesome the opportunity to fill up your own bottle, in a place where plastic waste is a main issue.

We stayed 6 days in Amed and have been at Apneista every day. The food is awesome. You can relax directly in front of the ocean. Try the iced ginger lemon tea ;)

Super charming resto/cafe with a super nice view on the sea. The food was delicious and not too expensive. Very good quality of food. Also a very nice and quiet place to just relax and watch the sea.

This is a good freediving school on a very easy entrance point. Sometimes the current brings in rain season dirt (massiv plastic piles ) from unconscious tourists and locals who throw their rubbish in the rivers to the bay..you will see it floating down to 5m depth. But most of the time the bay is nice. Apneista is a really... More

We went to apneista for lunch, absolutely enjoyed our meals and drinks! They've got an extended western/veggie menu and they do it well. Beautiful seaside patio with low tables.

I have always wanted to join the beautiful creatures of the ocean in the wild. Previously I tried SCUBA but the compressed air creates it's own unnatural dangers and the bubbles are so loud I cant hear anything and I scare the wildlife. Finally I have learned to swim with the fish instead of watching them hide from me. My... More

A very chilled out place (which is what you need for free diving) and the teacher (Phillipe) was very calm. The dive site is right outside. Great cafe too!

I did a 2 day beginner course at Apneista booked very last minute which they were willing to be flexible over (so give them a call even if their official course dates don't line up with your schedule). I went in without much expectation of what it would be like and I was hooked! I was amazed how much progress... More

Myself and my husband were advised by a friend to go to Apneista for the level 1 SSI course on our honeymoon. We both love the water but I was definitely nervous and slightly sceptical. (I can't hold my breath and wasn't sure I'd be comfortable even trying!) To say that I loved it would be a complete understatement. I... More
