Nice view.no water sports and no sailing options. Beach is not shallow, but dips precipitously. You can fly kites. Eat roasted groundnuts. Enjoy the setting sun. Wish they had sunset cruises and yachting. The only pier is a rusted out, broken and abandoned relic from the past.

We visited this during and found not much activity on the beach. Sea seemed little rough and steep decline on beach itself. We had had some local snacks and roamed there for some time before moving on with our back waters journey.

It is like any other beach. Not very clean. Waves were normal when i visited. Early morning , the sound and water is very beautiful. Light-house is very near by.

The best time to visit this beach is in the evenings during the pre - monsoon period i.e. Mid May to June. The humid breeze of the sea lifts up your sagging spirits after the bustle & heat of the day. One of the best locations for walking at Aleppey. Saturdays & Sundays are usually crowded. Take caution while bathing... More

This beach is very close to rail way station and 4km away from Allapuzha Bus stand. I would recommend to visit this beach atleast before 7pm, because not much lighting near beach.

The best beach you can find in kerala. Very calm and good crowd from far away places visit the beach. It's a bit untidy now with the bypass work going on.

Clean beach. Life guards are available. The pier or the old bridge is long gone now although the skeleton is still visible. A small amusement park is a disappointment.

A normal beach filled with local crowd. Good experience to see the vibrant colours of the local people. The sand is not soft, rough always full crowd not a peaceful beach. Local vendor selling small things. A small kids park besides.
