It's one of a museum found in Alleppey. Ravi karunakaran was a wealthy coir business man who went on many foreign tours and during those tours brought many things which are on display.

Visited the place on 29/4/17, even though the entry fees is a bit high, we enjoyed a collection, which is truly international. Two floors full of outstanding stuff. What attracted us more was the SWAROVSKI crystal collection which was soo good. Also the ivory collection. A BUIKE Super(1948 model i guess) car will welcome you in the ground floor. Recommended... Be amazed by the collections of 3 generations of the Karunakaran family with rare and very aesthetic items of great cultural value. The silverware and gemstone collection includes expensive, but tasteful collections as is the large ivory work

Not the traditional museum, where the collection is usually owned by the government. This is a wonderful exhibition of Crystal, Jade, Ivory, Wood, Porcelain, paintings and artwork collection owned by a single family. Definitely a must visit.

A nice museum holding some of the finest collections of Revi Karuna Karan family. Must visit when in Alleppey. The entry fee seems bit costly though but worth the visit.

The Museum was built by Revi Karua Karan's wife in memory of him and to house the items they have collected during their travels over the years. A wonderful display, so well laid out, labeled, lit and cared for. I... More

Its a private museum having large collections of Revi Karuna Karan and his wife. Its largest collection of ivory in Asia. Not much tourist attractions in Alappuzha so its recommended as 1-2 hrs time pass. Nice antique collection!
