Wow! I just saw the biggest crab in my life! I set off at 5 am to watch the sun rising by the crab statue. This really is a must see. I recommend that you go early to beat the crowds.

You don't need to make a special trip to see this giant crab statue 50 yards offshore (installed in 2012, I believe), as you'll probably pass it on the coast road on your way into the centre of town. Don't go out of your way to go and see this. Looks like a cheesy advertising idea you would find outside of 'Crab capital of the USA'

One of the better statues around Kampot province. Good advertising for the crab market, and not a signpost statue as the others in Cambodia.

Well built statue - love the slogan about keeping Kep clean. Kep actually have a clean up day once a year - congratulations it is a shame some of the other towns do not. Statue can be seen from the street whilst travelling past.

You will not miss this BIG Crab statue. Read from the plaque that it was donated by Cambodia senior minister. Good for photo taking. Thats about it.

Crab is smaller than I was expecting, but it is quite funny, and you can make nice sunset photos with it.

When there are the most beautiful stone statues around - why the plastic crab? Lovely area and great beach which is cleaned up each night - lots of accommodation available
