Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We attended a Dance Competition at this venue. The dressing rooms were good (hidden gem of space by stage) but there were 3 flights of stairs to lug dance bags up. This is expected for the age of the theatre. main lobby has elevators for main levels. There is limited parking beside building. Free on weekends. Also a deck fro parking acroos the street. Free on weekends as well. However, when we went it was out of tickets and the blocks are A LOT of one way streets.
Overall the sound quality and seating was decent.

The Carolina Theater is an historic icon in downtown Greensboro, like stepping back in time with absolutely gorgeous interiors and an outstanding stage and dressing room facilities. The staff is very attentive to keeping the facility clean & accommodating any special needs! ! The Caroline Theater could rival ANY NYC or London theater ~~ beautiful !!!

This beautifully restored old theater is a great place to watch a movie or concert. Greensboro is very inventive in how it's used, and in recent months I've seen both Jane Monheit and The Manhattan Transfer there. Parking is close and easy, it's simple to get in and out, and the people are nice. But the theatre is the star, and provides a great place to catch good movies and music.

I have been to 2 shows here; one upstairs and the main theater. The music is always great but the freaking videographers walking all over the stage and in front of the artists is so distracting.
I didn’t pay to see the ass end of a stage hand.
I have never been to a venue that does this.
It ruins the show.

This theater opened in 1927 and is one of the most beautiful buildings in Greensboro. It is very well maintained. They have many performances through out the year. There are not any bad sits in the theater. We recently attended a concert there and everything was very organized and enjoyable.

The Carolina Theatre dates back to the 1920's if I'm not mistaken - the recent remodel several years ago is wonderful, capturing its classic look. The sound is very good and the "cheap" seats up in the balcony are a great bargain for most all shows.........recently saw Simon Garfunkel - but, I have been to many shows. GO!

Love the old feel of this theatre! However, seats were uncomfortable like they felt small & I am under 5 ft tall. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Saw Joe Jackson in concert there - it is a beautifully maintained historic theater - just the right size - not too big, not too small. Good acoustics, and just a really nice place to see a show. I recommend it unreservedly.

There are no overnight accomodations at the theater. Did you mean this question for another review?
