    A very nice walk!!!
Beautiful walk of around 5 km. Bring sturdy shoes with good grip because it is very steep. Our guide Lhoucine spoke French and knows this region very, very well. The meal was typically Moroccan and very good. We loved this visit. 😉

Magnificent for the eyes and for the heart
We visited the waterfalls accompanied by a guide, Nabil Sidky (@nabil_tupac1 on insta) who was extremely friendly, with an infectious good humor and a big smile, which added to the beauty of the waterfalls. I recommend it +++ Thank you ☺️ Ps: in the photo nabil with us ☺️

A great day trip from Marrakech. Long but great.
It is a very long day out from Marrakech. Something like 5 or 6 hours travel time in total. The drive travels through some amazing scenery and lovely villages. The falls them selves are amazing (check how much rain has been if in a dry spell you could get a much less active falls. I recommend walking down the dirt trail and up the stairs. To get to the falls if a bit of a hike and going up the stairs is a real work out , so if you are not good with many heights of climbing stairs or are not in good shape, this trip is not for you. though you can get some great views from the top with not much exercise. On the dirt path you should get to see the wild Barbary apes (monkeys). At the bottom you can take a boat ride under the falls. There are toilets (for a small fee) , restaurants, snack places, soft drinks and water sales, and many tourist souvenir shops. You can swim at the bottom if you want, so bring a suit and towel. The falls are pretty spectacular. Hope this helps people.

    Nice ride but quick
Pleasant walk. We learned when we arrived that we had to pay for a guide on site. Nabil was smiling, kind...but very rushed. We had a very pleasant time but we would have liked to enjoy the place more by taking more time. Nabil took us to the restaurant at Mounir's, we didn't really have a choice but we don't regret it: great value for money.

    Unavoidable! Magnificent day
An essential excursion to do during your stay in Marrakech. 2h30 journey, no motorway but the roads are good, not too much traffic. Just be careful when you arrive, children on the side of the road, do not stop. A superb day with our guide Nabil Sidky (@nabil_tupac1 on insta), he spent the whole afternoon with us, at our pace. He guided us on the best path to take, very authentic, to avoid the mass of tourists and the shops.. We had a great day, my children were able to feed the little monkeys, take a little boat trip, meet the locals. A magnificent landscape. Thank you Nabil!!!!

    Absolutely worth seeing
If you are in Morocco you should definitely check out these waterfalls. They are super beautiful and you wouldn't expect them. The circular route is also recommended. It takes about an hour and you should first walk over the small bridge (anti-clockwise)! Conclusion: Great location!

Outstanding guide to the Ouzoud waterfalls
We spent a day at the Ouzoud waterfalls (a must-see excursion from Marrakech) and had the incredible chance to come across "by chance" the Kylian Mbappé of the Cascades: nabil_tupac on Instagram. They showed us the best spots of the waterfalls for photography with joy, good humor and laughter. He is overflowing with the joy of living and is a real breath of fresh air!! He was able to show great patience for the long moments for the photo!! We spent a superb day with him and saw the waterfalls from the best angle and in the best conditions thanks to Nabil. A big thank you to Nabil Lalla Stéfanie and Habibi Eduardo :o)

    A beautiful day trip
We really enjoyed the waterfalls (we booked a day trip from Marrakech). They are really beautiful carved into the sand stone and with their height of 110m a sight to see. As we booked it as a day trip we had a guide (Mohamed) he was great, really attentive and helpful which made our stay even better.

    To do absolutely
Very beautiful place to absolutely do in Morocco. 3 hours drive from Marrakech. We chose this excursion at our hotel and took the private formula in 4×4 With a guide for the price 199 euros per day with meal. Otherwise it’s 32 euros in a group without the meal

Ouzoud waterfalls day trip from Marrakech
Day at the Ouzoud waterfalls We spent the day at the Ouzoud waterfalls, not far from the Moroccan Atlas roads. We had booked an excursion to Marrakech, 15€ per person including the return journey only. Pick-up at the Riad punctual, nothing to say. Transport by air-conditioned and comfortable mini van. We had decided not to take a guide for our walk (not a question of money - Count €3 On Site, + restaurant and activity - but rather the desire to do the walk at our own pace and not in a very supervised group), but when we arrived we found ourselves a little taken aback to be assisted by a guide – adorable however – during the walk… But after some negotiations, we managed to continue on our own… We first went by the “official” route where numerous groups of guided tourists follow each other to the large waterfalls, then to the restaurants indicated by the guides. We then turned back half way to take a different route indicated by a local restaurateur which led to smaller waterfalls and falls a few hundred meters lower, and there surprise!! Wonder at a much calmer valley and water courts where there are many small restaurants nestled at the water's edge with swimming possible, unfortunately empty as we pass by because of the guided tours which do not follow this route (because the guides are not paid by the restaurants…). What a shame, a little “haven of peace” that lives up to its name, run by a brilliant and so authentic family who prefer to reserve the gentleness and privilege of getting to know the most curious visitors who go off the beaten track. But such a shame all the same, the setting and their hospitality would be well worth the detour compared to the more crowded restaurants and the chain service… In short, an unmissable visit, even if you finish by the classic route to admire the waterfalls, the attraction with the boats, the monkeys, etc. but obligatory passage, according to us, on the trails a few ways from the organized outing routes. However, it is important to note that an unofficial "agreement" (not previously mentioned) would exist between Marrakesh tourism agencies and local guides for the care of arriving tourists that 99% follow with pleasure and without question. question. Unfortunately this is never mentioned when booking the activity which only promises transport. If you want to live the experience to the fullest, choose to go there on your own or be advised that you will have to negotiate with the guide once you arrive there. Ps: If you ever want to take this route, turn right towards the small path that goes down rather than left towards the climb at the first intersection after the first 10 minutes of walking, the locals at the juice bar etc will be happy to help you to inform ! Do not hesitate :)

We arranged a trip here with our Riad. The bus picked us up and then dropped us off in the square to get on another bus. We were waiting here for some time and began to get worried but it turns out we were waiting for another couple. The bus driver was keen to fill up the bus before we left, even if that meant waiting for ~45 minutes. The ride was long but we stopped off on the way for a quick toilet stop and snacks. When we got there we found ourselves with a guide that led us through the traditional berber villages and showed us some great viewpoints. He was quite knowledgeable and I'm glad we ended up with him despite originally wanting to do it ourselves. We brought some nuts for 10dh at this point as we knew the monkeys were coming up. When we got to the bottom of the waterfall we got on the boats that cost 20dh per person and we were allowed to take turns steering the boat for great photo opps. The climb back to the top was not as bad as some prior reviews have said and there are plenty of little shops/resting points on the way. The monkeys at the top were a highlight of the trip, to see them in their natural habitat was nice but the locals, very obviously waiting for the tourists, were not. They hassled us to accept their crackers despite showing them we had already brought nuts and forcefully put it into our hands when we held out nuts for the monkeys. They then expected money and my parter felt obliged to give even though we only had 200dh notes at this point. When asked for change, he tried to only give 40dh back and was being forceful. We were not keen on paying effectively £17 for crackers we didn't even want so we called over our tour guide and he sorted it for us. There were also kids selling some sort of spices so my advice is to keep to yourself and be forceful if you don't want the hassle. We were then led to a restaurant where the price was 110dh per person as a flat fee which I personally do not believe was worth it as it was the worst tagine we had on the whole of our holiday (hardly any meat at all, mostly bone and fat and WAY too much oil)

There was a few irritating parts of the trip with the hassle and food selections but the views were worth it so I feel it still deserved a 5 *rating.

We booked this when we first arrived in Marrakech as a no brainer because we wanted to see the beautiful sights we only later found out it was a 2 and a half hour journey each way (if you’ve been to Marrakech you’ll know things always take longer than the estimated time)
It was an early start as we booked with tui and once again they got us to the attraction earlier than most other tour groups which was good.
We had a great tour guide that was very friendly, funny and informative.
Before we headed down to the waterfall we stopped to see the monkeys, there are men there with food so you are able to feed them, the will want some Dinah of you to do this. You can also have your photo taken with them.
There’s a quite a few steps down to the water fall but none of them are very steep.
There’s lots of little shops on the way down to buy souvenirs.
Once you get to the bottom there are little rafts that will take you over to the waterfall for 40 dirham...we personally didn’t do that but most others did, instead we took the opportunity while there was no one around to head to the right of the rafts and climb up some rocks to get good photos.

Beautiful waterfalls with great views from all angles hiking down and up either side. We were approached by a guide upon arrival who for 400Dirham (plus we bought him lunch) took us all the way around, guiding us through the best spots, took photos and helped handle the locals, well worth it. There's a great restaurant that served us bread, salad, dips, chicken skewers and fries, oranges and mint tea for around 100Dir each. Highly recommended paying the 100Dir to do the boat trip up to the waterfall.

The waterfall wasn’t that impressive (maybe different other seasons). A very touristy vibe and the restaurant that is pre-booked with the booking (Ando Travel) was expensive (120 dirham) for a lambdish that only included some strings of lamb meet on it. The taste was alright though. The service what really bad and they were nonchalant.

The guide didn’t do or say anything special, so if u want to see the waterfall, do it by driving by with a rental car on the way to something else or something among those lines.

It is indeed an amazing place - sheer beauty. The problem is that it is dirty, full of irritating people and endless shops that have everything you will never want to buy. Take a walk on the cliff before going down to the viewpoint. Enjoy the monkeys but do refrain from feeding them. Walk to the small waterfalls downstream as well - where very few visitors go. All in all, it is worth spending half a day if the weather is good.

A fascinating village in the middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. At once a window into the way tourists affect rural communities and a chance to spend some time with friendly and cheerful Berber people. Our guide on the walk to view the waterfall was a delightful young man, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to discuss topics simple and challenging with me. Our visit ended with a delicious meal of salad, bread, tagline and grilled chicken at a local restaurant. The price was very cheap for such good value. A lovely day out.

A most memorable day of this little hidden gem in Morocco. A little bit of a hike so make sure you put on sensible shoes as can be slippery in parts but once you reach the destination it is breath taking. The boat ride is splendid being able to get up close to the waterfall and the local cuisine is mouthwatering and very cheap, enjoy this amazing view.

Rather than taking a Guide upon our arrival at the Ouzoud Waterfalls, we listened to the advice of a tourist couple who were in our resort and contacted Abdel (+212 649-238034) via WhatsApp. We agreed on a meeting point where we could serenely leave our rental car.
It was perfect! He even relieved my wife by carrying her backpack. During the visit, he managed not to bother us and when we wanted to buy something, he told us the maximum Award we had to spend not to get fooled. During the lunch break, he was very discreet and slipped away with his colleagues when we had offered him lunch with us and was available at the end of our meal. Very nice, he took our family photos and before we bathed we were able to leave our things safely.
We really do not regret contacting him! What kindness and professionalism.

This trip to the waterfalls offered some absolutely stunning scenery that is definitely worth the trip. The guide's pick-up right off the bus was well organized, and his clear instructions for the descent to the waterfalls allowed us to fully enjoy the view without worries. However, it is important to note that the boat to cross is chargeable, as is the crossing itself, which can be a surprise if you are not expecting it. The lunch at the restaurant recommended by the guide was okay, nothing more, but the quick experience allowed us to continue our day without wasting time. The climb to see the monkeys was the perfect opportunity to digest and end this day in a fun way before returning to Marrakech. Overall, a tour I recommend for nature lovers and day adventurers!

Very nice site and few people in September. We refused the Arrival Guide which was imposed on us for 4th per person and which imposed a restaurant (although not included in the excursion). Plan sneakers and pay attention to 732 steps on the way back so not necessarily accessible to all.
