Let me start by saying I've been to nearly all of the abundance of distilleries in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area. All have their perks, but if you're going to choose just one, make it Doc Collier! Trey was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and helpful,...More

2 things I liked about DC's 1) Interesting flavors different from all the other moonshine places such as Naner, Greenbrier Apple, Smoky Mt Sunrise, and Peach! I went to 5 moonshine tastings in the 4 days we were there and no else had these. 2)...More

While it's not quite like the real thing (or so I've heard), many of the Doc Collier moonshine flavors were really good. More importantly, Anthony made it fun to taste them! We're glad we stopped in and stayed for a tasting!

It is. Its basically a tasting room. There are no tables or chairs and you basically just do the tastings at the bar. In and out in under 30 minutes.

Couple different sizes, sometimes seasonal flavors will be on sale. I believe a standard fifth was about $25.

There is no age limit to enter the store but you do have to show ID for tastings. That is true for every store or restraurant serving alcohol in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. They are very strict about it and card everyone.
