An elevator rakes you to the top of this scenic lookout. Your ticket allows you to go twice, with the idea that you can enjoy the views both during the day and at night. Unfortunately we only got to see the view at night, as...More

The views from the observation deck were fantastic, but if you're going with kids, beware that you have to walk through an arcade to get out. It's basically a casino for kids. I gave mine $5 each just to try some games, and they ended...More

Great view overlooking Gatlinburg! Nice staff and great place to take the family or go on a date! I enjoyed the view during the day more than the night trip.

Awesome!! They have a senior discount too. The viewers at the top are free; never seen any free before. You can stay up as long as you want and return the same day as many times as you like with your receipt.

I have been going to Gatlinburg since I was a young child and for whatever reason never went up in the needle. SO, this time I made it a point to go, to get a great view of where the fires effected the areas. The...More

This is the most amazing view of the area. You ride an elevator to the top, and then you're free to walk around the deck at the top. Unfortunately, it is all open, and on windy, cold days, not too pleasant to stay up there.

We went at night (2100) and had the observation deck to ourselves. The roads below were quiet and lit up. The tower swayed a bit in the breeze. It was chilly and a nice view. The lobby is an arcade filled with all kinds of...More

It was a cold, rainy afternoon, so we didn't stay long but we were glad we checked out the views from the top of the Space Needle. The cost was about $12 a ticket (we forgot to ask for the senior discount). There are some...More

There was little to no wait time for the elevator. The view was much better during the day, but the city lights were gorgeous at night. Plus it was much cooler!

The elevator goes fairly slowly, but I don't know if pets are allowed. You have to go through a Game Center to buy your tickets and get onto the elevator. Why don't you try their website and /or call them.

Hi Ashley, In the past, I have been in much larger structures with astounding sway. If you read my review you will not find any comments regarding tower sway - just the facility itself. Glad you had a great time!
