Kids and teens will love it
Kids and teens will love this attraction, but it will be hit or miss for adults. There are some cool exhibits in this museum — in fact, some of the artwork is really cool and interesting. It was very crowded and felt a little stuffy and claustrophobic inside, but I enjoyed walking through and seeing the sights. We purchased an aquarium combo ticket and visited the Odditorium as an add-on — I probably would not pay full price to go back.

    Great experience for the family
Ripley’s Believe It or Not has updated since we were here 7 years ago. Good for entire family. Made the experience more interactive and interesting. I have a 21, 18, and 13 year old and we all loved it.

    Fun and interactive!
We purchased the Ripley's Aquarium plus 4 more tickets and this was our second stop. It's pretty cool. Lots of interesting and unusual exhibits. Very cool to read and learn about some of the unusual things people have accomplished. The Aquarium was my favorite (I'm very animal science-y minded) but this was my second fav of the ones we visited. Somewhat interactive and we heard a bunch of 'wow, cool!' and 'check this out!!' from the children around us in the museum. (We were two adults/ no kids with us)

    Fun Place to walk through!
Growing up, I would watch Ripley's Believe it or not. It was always so fascinating! To see the Museum of amazing facts is pretty awesome. There were interactive pieces but some were broken or not working properly. I hope they fix it soon!

I originally purchased tickets to the Aquarium. I upgraded for two more attractions so at least I didn't pay full price for this waste of time and money. They are charging $29.99 per person. There are 2 very small floors with exhibits. Most of the exhibits are just posters on the wall with facts you can read online. There are some interactive exhibits that would appeal to kids 12 and under. This is not a place for adults or couples. What really got me is you start off at floor 3 then move to floor two. Then you finish on floor one which is a small arcade. After charging a ridiculous price for admission the arcade isn't even included. You need to pay to play the arcade games. From the time I started on the 3rd floor when I checked-in on Facebook until we walked out of the first floor was 20 minutes exactly. Not to mention parking is going to cost you between $15 and $20. This a bonified tourist trap.

I am in the "NOT" group. This is positively the biggest ripoff in Gatlinburg and that is saying something. I am a local resident and just visited Ripley's last weekend. It was $60 for two seniors and we were there less than 30 minutes. Most all the interactive exhibits we tried were not working properly and the rest was strange and bizarre at times, which I realize is WHY people go to the believe or not museum. But the outside and the exhibits in the lobby area are more interesting than what is inside. Do not waste your money on this waste of time. It would cost over $100 for a family of 4 to see this and there are much better values in the Smokey Mountains. The Titanic is my favorite and it is far more interesting.

I was highly disappointed in this Ripleys believe it or not. I’m an advocate Ripleys goer when I go on vacation. There was a lot of the displays down or that didn’t work. We paid $30 a piece to view this Ripleys, and I don’t believe we got $10 worth. I highly don’t recommend this place at all…

Right away OMG! You are walking past this amazing building with cute bears and stuff on the outside and there it is! A globe,a albino giraffe and your like what is this!? Well read the rather huge sign on the front of the building. (LOL) This collection of oddities is rather intimidating and amazing. Really cool photo opportunities throughout the place. Things from shrunken heads,to the world's tallest man. Love neat unique things, come here and take your time to read. They have a pice of the Berlin wall, a model of Hogwarts castle made of match sticks(I think) as well as a kaleidoscope room. It can get a little crowded at times, just be patient and remember the strollers don't have horns. ( My ankles forgot about that). Other than that its pretty amazing.

I have visited this Ridley’s for many years and I have always enjoyed the way it was laid out. This is the first time my wife and I have visited in a few years and we were shocked to see most of the old exhibits taken out. It is obviously laid out now to be more interactive but the theme of the “unusual, the strange” has been taken over by a collection of interactive stations that belong in a fun house; cheaply made representations of carnival shows and not a museum or a priceless collection. Mr. Ripley would not approve of the direction this location has taken and not only will we not be back and spend $60/couple, we will not recommend it to anyone.

We were here on Wednesday 6/30. This place is always a fun time no matter what city you are in. They always have different exhibits in each one. Our family really enjoyed it! Be advised that there is a combo ticket available if you do both SkyLift and Ripley's, but you can only find out about it at Ripley's. We weren't able to get the combo ticket since we did SkyLift first and they didn't tell us about the offer. The clerk at Ripley's was not willing to give our group of 9 people the discounted tickets :( Other than that, it was a fun time for all of us. We would recommend this place to everyone!

I had looked forward to this as we had never been. Definitely not recommended for the price. The outside looks awesome. Inside… super boring. And I’m glad I never brought my kids when they were younger as it would NOT have interested them. If an adult, looking for something interesting, go to Smokey mountain knife works, on their first floor is is filled with artifacts from wars to dinosaurs. And it’s FREE! So hello? Don’t waste your money on Ripleys believe it or not, I paid hard earned money for that 😡

We have visited Ripley's in other cities around the country. This had 3 floors to tour and many exhibits. Many of the items were replicas of items actually in other Ripley's museums - not the actual item. As far as some hands on exhibits, most of them were broken.

If you've been to other Ripley's museums, I would recommend you take a pass on this one. If you have not visited another Ripley's, it's a good rainy day destination but not a "I got to go there" place.

We enjoyed strolling through the exhibits. More interesting if you take the time to stop and read what each exhibit is. Sometimes hard to do that if a bunch of kids are running around. We bought a combo ticket which allowed visitation to 3 Ripley's attractions, so the price was pretty good.

My wife and I really enjoyed the experience, having been here in the past we did not take our 8 and 9 year old this time. The exhibits are detailed and bring facts to life in detail. I hope to take our children back once they get a little older (and more patient)!
