Love the aquarium

I have no complaints about the aquarium, this was my daughters first time and she loved it. We have been quite a few times.

Ripley's Aquarium is a nice relaxing break from the busy Main Street of Gatlinburg. You can easy spend several hours checking out the varied aquatic critters on display. I especially enjoy Shark Lagoon: an underwater walkway that lets you see sharks and a number of other creatures from a different perspective. Penguin Playhouse is also fun, especially when the penguins... More

I have been to quite a few aquariums around the country so I went to Ripley's aquarium with high hopes but moderate expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. The tunnels with the sharks and other large fish was stunning. We watched the mermaid show and the stingray feeding show and they were both entertaining. The aquariums... More

All in all, this is a good aquarium. I appreciate how clean the exhibits are, how much space they have for people to move around, how descriptive the placards are, and how much my son loves it, but at almost $80 for 2 adults and a 5-year-old, (that's with the AAA discount), it's getting pretty pricey!

Aquariums are not my way of spending a vacation but I relented to go. I found this one better than about any other our family has visited. Just skip the extra option to pay for the ride of the sharks. Not worth it when you can see them better in the tunnel and in the displays. They had cleverly done... More

We attended the Penguin Encounter where we pet a penguin, a behind the scenes tour and a chance to Splash with Stingrays. For the price, it was definitely worth it! Outside of the encounters, the aquarium in itself was educational, beautiful and well maintained. Definitely recommended.

This was a wonderful venue. From the exhibits to the staff, it was well worth it! The hands on exhibits were a lot of fun. I especially liked touching the jellyfish. Quite a great find!

This was a nice place to visit, I enjoyed the glass bottom boat and seen the sharks swimming under boat while the guide told us what kind they was and information about them.

Loved the aquarium in the Smokies. Especially the glass walkway where the fish are swimming around you. A gem in the mountains....definitely visit.

If you have kids with you, a great way to spend a couple of hours. Been once, that's enough. Kind of pricey, even with discount passes or coupons.
