The scenic view was extaordinary. I imagine the view is even more spectacular when the leaves of autumn are in full display.

Stop on your way out of town and look back on the city of Gatlinburg. I haven't stopped at night but the daytime view is spectacular!

If finances or fright prevent you from taking one of the ski lift scenic rides, drive up the bypass and stop at the scenic overlooks. You don't want to miss this view if you are staying in town or Pigeon Forge.

Yes, it's an overlook of Gatlinburg. It has signs explaining what you are looking at. It is a wonderful view, of downtown.

The views from up here are simply stunning. You will look out over Gatlinburg. Here you can see why they are called the Smokey mountains.

We ended up here on a whim. It was gorgeous, and allowed us to take some great photos of the area. Wasn't too difficult to get in and out of.

We drove by here on a clear day with a big, blue sky. You can see many miles. The drive is the way to avoid driving through Gatlinburg. It is a major time saving shortcut with beautiful views.
