I specifically drove here to get the caramel apple. For years this was the best. Now, the caramel was so hard I could break theough to the apple. It seemed as though the caramel had paraffin in it. Hope this was just a fluke.

We tested a sample before we bought and it was good, but when we opened the bag we bought, it tasted like they were a little stale. Unfortunately we didn't start eating them until later, or we would have returned them.

I always stop at the Smoky Mountain Nut House when in the area. Their nuts are simply amazing. My favorite are the honey roasted cashews. They have just a hint of sweetness. Nuts are tender, not hard or crunchy. Service is always fast and usually fairly friendly. Prices were a tad high this visit. Can't remember what I paid previous... More

Look, I like the nuts they have here. They have a nice variety and will let you sample up to three ( the staff was quick to tell me the limit was three ), but I felt like it was way to much to pay for the bag size you get. The large bag came to $14.47 after tax. If... More

Make sure you stop buy this store if you like roasted nuts of any kind. They are not as flashy as the bigger candy stores but they are better than any of them. Also make sure you get the web address so you can order on line.

We stop here each trip to the Smokies to pick up a big bag of their Honey Roasted Cashews. They are delicious. We also grab the small bags for souvenirs for friends and family back home! Overall, just a small shop with some candy, roasted nuts, boiled peanuts and drinks. They offer FREE samples if you want to try them... More

We visit this area at least once a year. When we do make the trip we usually stop at the nut house more than once per trip. Our favorite are the honey roasted pecans. We've also tried several other flavors they offer and every one we've had has been outstanding. The owners are so sweet and always available to help... More

When you arrive Ron or his wife will give you a sample of anything you would like to try. The second part is a little harder. Trying to narrow it down to what you want to take home to your family and friends for them to try. After that all your family and friends are going to ask you is... More

I love the Smoky Mountain Nut House. It is one of my guilty pleasures when in the Smokies. I always stop in to get a bag of Honey cashews before I head home. You can sample the nuts for free, so there is no harm in checking them out. They have cashews, almonds and pecans. In addition to the nuts... More
