You can feel the reverence for this place and the Bridge is awesome. Its a bit of a trek to get there but that is good - too many visitors would really spoil it!

Wow...is what we said! What a wonderful experience! Cruising Lake Powell was great, but once we reached Rainbow Bridge, we were introduced to a majestic site. The hiking was easy and the park rangers gave such wonderful information on the history of the site. We...More

We took a boat tour from Wahweap Marina. The boat trip was spectacular, but the sight of the bridge was absolutely beautiful. It's a short hike in once the boat docks, and there was a Ranger who gave us a presentation, with pictures, of the...More

It was a great trip there and back. We had to board the boat at 7:20 a.m. and bring our own lunch. It was an approximate two hour guided tour there with interesting tidbits about the scenery along the way. Upon arrival, we hiked one...More

Just over a mile pretty easy hike and you are rewarded not only with Rainbow Bridge but also Navajo Mountain in the background. Well worth the 2-1/2 hour boat trip to get there.

You get to this landmark by boat, and there's only one vendor providing the boat trip: Aramark. They did fine, and the destination is truly stunning, with a very scenic walk of about a mile each way—just enough to be an enjoyable trek. I give...More

There is reason this is a national monument, it is worth the effort to get there. These days it is only a short time from the lake. Before Lake Powell it was 7 miles from the river and still worth it.

Another good bit of advice would be to sit in the middle part of the boat! I learned this years ago.

Hi Liz, Thank you in advance for your time. My friends and I are interested in visiting Rainbow Bridge, we were wondering what transportation service did you use for the Lake Powell Boat Tour. Thank you, Emily

We have our own boat and know the lake very well. We always see 'new boaters' getting lost. If you have your own boat and are experienced, then it is a great adventure. Follow the channel markers. It is easy to end up... More
