Not much to see, but what is there is interesting. The house itself is a nice example of a Victorian home. Museum staff was very friendly. Enjoyed my visit.

Quite enjoyable collection of (mostly) old photographs of town. The recreated parlor was pretty minimal, but the exhibit was good, and the family histories were interesting. Very nice gift shop.

This museum is a beautifully preserved home with a wonderful past. The history of Silver City is well displayed and the visiting art collection was outstanding. The person greeting us was actually born in the house and added nice dimension to our visit.

This sweet little museum is in an historic house from the era they are covering. We learned of the series of big floods which carved Main Street down to bedrock and is now know as 'the big ditch'.

We were welcomed and introduced to the place by a really friendly guy. It is interesting as a lens to view the early house however it has been adapted somewhat well, but there has been change. YMMV

This is a nice museum in a historic house. Their current exhibit was about flamenco dancing. It was interesting but I would have appreciated more local history.

This is worth a visit. It’s walking distance from most of the eateries downtown, and staffed by friendly people. The rotating exhibit currently is Flamenco. It has colorful displays and is pretty interesting. There are exhibits upstairs about the town and regions history. Unfortunately one...More

Bea is a very knowledgeable and interesting gal to get to know. I would have given this place 5 stars if there had been an elevator since I'm handicapped.

As the museum was on the list of goid stops we decided to give it a try. Was a interesting old house. Exibits were nothing spectacular. Was hoping for more local historic information.
